The boys golf team advances to the TAPPS 6A State Championship on Monday and Tuesday, May 5 and 6, in Glen Rose. The team finished 3rd in regionals at Gleannloch Pines, with a total score of 598. Harrison Knight (‘25) finishes 3rd individually, shooting a 1-under two-day total of 141. Jackson Mills (‘28) finishes 5th individually with a 2-over two-day total of 144. Congratulations to Viki Hernandez ('27) on her regional meet showcase!
While at the regional meet, the boys team broke school records for their performances on the course. Harrison Knight (’25) is the new record holder for the lowest individual score for 36 holes, with a two-day total of 141 (the previous record was 147). The current team now holds the title of the lowest team score for 36 holes, with a total of 598 (the previous record was 614)! Best of luck at the state meet, team!
