The upper school varsity boys basketball team picked up where they left off last season, going 3-0 at the summer TABC Showcase in Duncanville. Playing in front of numerous college coaches, the Warriors made a statement with a commanding 59–39 victory over the defending UIL 6A State Champion, Denton Guyer, in their opening game. They followed that up with a 64–48 win over Highland Park and capped off the weekend by defeating 6A powerhouse Little Elm, 77–64. Several players earned scholarship offers and sparked interest from universities across the country after their standout performances.
