On Friday, September 26, the varsity football team delivered a standout performance against their first district opponent, Antonian Prep, on home turf. In front of an electric home crowd, the Warriors battle back from a 21-28 halftime score, defeating the Apaches with a final score of 47-42.

Following the big win, two Warriors have noted impressive individual performances so far this season. Andres Patino ('26) currently holds the #1 spot in Receiving Yards (643 yards) among all Texas private schools and ranks #11 statewide across both public and private school football. Nico Anderson ('27) is currently ranked #2 in Passing Yards among Texas private schools with 1,513 total yards, 303 yards per game, and 18 touchdowns. He also ranks #8 overall in the state across public and private schools.
