On Monday, October 27, the varsity cross country team represented St. Michael’s Prep at the TAPPS State Cross Country Meet at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco. Despite the misty morning conditions, the Warriors delivered an impressive performance, achieving outstanding individual and team results!

For the girls team, Lucy Lamy ('26) earned an exceptional third-place finish with a 12:02.85 2-mile time! Linda Smith ('28) was the second Warrior to cross the finish line, placing 28th overall with a 13:11.24 2-mile time. The girls team finished 7th overall in the TAPPS 6A division. On the boys team, Jayden Andresakis ('29) led the way for St. Michael’s Prep, placing 49th with a 5000m time of 18:17.31. Trajan Koberg ('28) followed closely behind, finishing 55th with a personal record time of 18:38.15. The boys team placed 14th overall in TAPPS 6A competition.
