The upper school swim team kicked off its season with a strong performance at its first meet, held at the Texas School for the Deaf on Wednesday, January 14. Both the girls and boys teams finished an impressive second overall! The girls team earned top finishes throughout the meet, including a second-place finish in the 200 Yard Medley Relay and multiple first-place individual results from GG Sitter ('29), Imogen Jugmans ('29), and Piper Smith ('29). Notable victories included first-place finishes by Sitter in the 100 Yard Butterfly, 100 Yard Freestyle, and 100 Yard Backstroke, Jugmans in the 200 Yard IM, and Smith in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.

On the boys side, Matthew Jiampietro ('26) and Jayden Andresakis ('29) led the way, sweeping first and second place in both the 200 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Freestyle. Andresakis also earned first in the 100 Yard Backstroke, while Bob Vander Ploeg ('28) contributed podium finishes in the backstroke and breaststroke. The girls closed the meet with a third-place finish in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay.
