The Upper School Cheer and Mascot teams recently attended UCA Camp, where athletes spent the weekend enhancing their game-day skills, developing leadership, and strengthening teamwork in preparation for the upcoming school year. Throughout camp, the team received instruction from UCA Staff in crowd-leading techniques, performance quality, sideline execution, and school spirit while continuing to build a strong foundation for the season ahead. Camp concluded with an exciting showcase performance, where the team combined a sideline, cheer, and dance into one routine, highlighting the skills and material learned throughout the weekend for family and friends!

The team also celebrated individual accomplishments, with Viki Hernandez ('27), Sullivan Berger ('28), Ellie Cavanaugh ('28), Esmeralda Mercado ('28), Alyvia Schell ('28), Vivian Gomez ('29), and Lily Casey ('28) earning the distinction of UCA All-American! This award is selected by UCA staff members and is awarded to athletes who demonstrate exceptional performance, strong technical execution, and mastery of camp material, as well as leadership and consistency throughout camp. We're looking forward to what the season has in store for the team!
