Mora Mooney ('24) has reached over 1,300 kills during her high school career – a milestone few volleyball hitters achieve during play. With an average of 5.4 kills per set and 440 kills senior year alone, she leads the Crusaders in hits per match.
Hannah Bergfeld ('24) has reached over 1,100 assists during her high school career – yet another goal that is difficult for volleyball players to reach! We're looking forward to seeing where this season takes our athletes and what other goals they can achieve.
Mooney has also been named to Volleyball Mag's Girls High School Dream Team – an honorary list that is created weekly by having coaches from across the country nominate players who stood out in the week prior. The team is made up of eight players whose skills and leadership help propel their teams to the next level of play throughout the season. Congratulations to Gabi Spellings ('24), as she was named to the Dream Team's Honorable Mention list for girls' volleyball, as well!
