The St. Michael's cross country team participated in the State Meet held in Waco on Monday, October 30. Beyond facing competition from hundreds of runners, they also had to contend with frigid temperatures in the 30s. The girls' team finished as the state championship runner-up, with Laney Kalsu ('24) securing the 15th place overall. Meanwhile, the boys' team faced an added challenge of freezing rain during their race. Gabriel Aguilar ('24) led the charge for the boys, guiding them to a 13th-place finish.
